Description

The following yin yoga sequence is like a meditative Spring cleaning, focusing on the Liver and Gallbladder Meridians, which support the body’s natural digestive and detoxification functions. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the spirit of the Liver helps us organize and coordinate our ideas and visions into actions and change. The Liver is in charge of the smooth flow of Qi, both emotional and physical energy, and the emotion associated is anger. When we allow our anger/frustration to go unexpressed we stagnate and are unable to move forward. This practice evokes expansion, growth, and regeneration.
