Description

The menstrual phase of our cycle corresponds to the new moon and the season of winter. New Moons are initiations into new cycles—this is a time to rest, reflect, and set intentions for the next cycle. Our bodies are physical shedding, emptying, and asking you to be receptive to self and to listen in. This is considered a very intuitive and introspective time. This watery practice works to facilitate rest and introspection through a restorative practice: forward folds, low back and hip openers, and poses to help cramping.
