Restorative Yoga offers therapeutic tools to balance the nervous system in order to truly rest and replenish energy. States of deep mind and body relaxation are made more accessible through the architecture of restorative poses.
Health benefits of a consistent restorative practice include lowered blood pressure and blood sugar levels, reduced insomnia, balanced menstruation, improved digestion, and increased fertility.

Abby meets her patients and students exactly where they are on their path toward health, and integrates acupuncture, hand-crafted herbal formulas and individually curated lifestyle regimens in her practice. Abby offers seasonal classes and retreats throughout the year. Her teaching style reveres stillness and intentional movement as antidotes to our fast-paced and dis-eased modern lifestyles. In 2023, Abby opened Paloma Healing Center in Hudson, NY, where she lives and tends Green Street Community Garden.

Jessica Caplan is a lifelong vocalist, certified sound therapy practitioner, and yoga teacher. She creates sound baths and meditative soundscapes for special events and yoga classes, and leads workshops, retreats and trainings in voice and sound healing around the world. A graduate of the 290-hour integrative sound practitioner training at the Open Center’s Sound and Music Institute, Jessica counts among her teachers in voice and sound Silvia Nakkach, Bisan Toron and John Beaulieu. Jessica is passionate about providing her students both in group and one-on-one sessions an embodied, compassionate approach to connecting with the voice, and through that, with one's soul. She is a Reiki practitioner and Restorative yoga teacher, and weaves her studies of yoga, sound healing, Native traditions, shamanic practices, and classical North Indian singing into her work. Jessica is also the co-creatrix of SoundMind (www.soundmind.space), an audio meditation series combining meditation with therapeutic sound, released in the fall of 2016.
